This page explains what cookies La Casa Neil uses, why we use them, and how to control them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They allow websites to remember preferences, recognise return visitors, and serve embedded third-party content. Some cookies are strictly necessary to make the site work; others (third-party embeds, analytics, advertising) require your consent under EU/UK law.

The short version

This site uses no first-party analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We do not know who you are when you visit, and we do not follow you across the web.

We do use two third-party services that set their own cookies only after you give consent via the cookie banner:

• Google Fonts — for the two display typefaces used on the site (Cormorant Garamond and Inter).
• Google Maps — for the embedded map showing the apartment location. This is only loaded after you click "Load interactive map" or accept cookies.

If you decline cookies, both are blocked. Map and font appearance will degrade slightly but the site remains fully functional.

3. What we do NOT use

• No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Cloudflare analytics — no analytics at all on this site.
• No Facebook Pixel, Twitter pixel or any other social-media tracking.
• No advertising or remarketing cookies.
• No A/B testing or session-replay tools.
• No fingerprinting techniques.

How to control cookies

You can change your consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for lacasaneil.com. The cookie banner will reappear on your next visit.

Changes

If we change what cookies we use, we will update this page. Material changes (e.g. adding analytics) will reset your consent and prompt you again.
